Her work has been published in Crazyhorse, Reed Magazine, and Image. She is the winner of the John Steinbeck Award for Fiction, and received honorable mention in the 2017 Best American Essays. She received her BA from New York University, and her MFA from Texas State University, where she held the three-year Rose Fellowship. She teaches college writing at Texas State, and lives in Bastrop, TX with her husband.
